Award-Winning Art Students

Students will discuss their award-winning artworks during a free gallery walk Thursday, March 12, at 7 p.m. at University of Wyoming Art Museum.

The 23rd annual Juried Student Exhibition was judged this year by Elizabeth Guheen, Ucross Foundation Director.

From left are Sterling Campbell, a senior art major from Cheyenne, for “Found Object,” first place, $100; Molly C. Frantz, a senior art major from Jackson, for “Under/Over,”  second place $75; Kumiko S. McKee, a freshman art major from Laramie, for “Maiko,” A&S Dean’s Award, $100; Amy Epstein-Marron, a senior art education major from Laramie, for “the Ocean,” Honorable mention, $50; Kelly Anne Valdez, a senior women’s studies and art major from Casper, for “Girl Portrait,” Joror’s Award, $75; and Amanda Gutierrez Moore, a junior art major from Laramie, for “Untitled,” honorable mention, $50.
